Deputy Home Manager

Location: Stone House Care Home, Union St, Bishops Castle, SY9 5AJ

Salary: £36,232 per annum

Hours: 37 hrs per week, weekend working and shared On Call.

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Home Manager to support the day-to-day running of our care home and lead the team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Key Duties:

• Support residents in line with care plans, promoting independence
• Lead, supervise, and develop care staff
• Support rota management, shift planning, and staff deployment
• Oversee care records, medication administration, and handovers
• Work with families, professionals, and external agencies
• Support safeguarding, health & safety, and risk management
• Act as secondary on-call when required

Essential Requirements:

• Experience in elderly and dementia care
• Experience managing staff and teams
• Medication administration experience
• Knowledge of safeguarding adults at risk
• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Level 5 Diploma (or willingness to work towards)
• Leadership qualification or proven leadership experience
• Clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
