You're an experienced carer - what's next for you?
Being a compassionate, skilled and patient carer is one of the most important roles in the company and we value everyone’s contribution to providing the care we provide every day. However for staff who would like to progress within the Company we can offer both the opportunity and the training to achieve people’s personal aspirations.
The natural progression from carer is to become an assistant manager (responsible for managing a shift with specific additional responsibilities), to a deputy manager and when the time is right a Registered Manager. For people who are prepared to invest their time to learn and develop and show leadership qualities there are very few barriers to achieving your goals.
For carers who do not wish to progress but want to continue to learn there are many areas of specialisms for example end of life care and dementia and staff can concentrate on developing their knowledge and skills in areas of interest that benefit the people we support.
