Our Brand new Homes Support Team has been formed to provide support and care to all of our Homes in Shropshire, this may be to provide extra support to a care team in a home or to work in a specified position to cover absence for a specified time.
The team will work to a high standard and provide consistency of service across the homes.
The team has to be flexible in their approach, enjoy variety and working with new and different teams.
Flexibility is key to the success of the team as you will be required to work at different times and in different places in your roles.
Reward
Rates of pay exceed rates paid for static employees – this is because we are rewarding you for your flexibility:
- Home Support Nurse £25.50 per hour
- Home support Care Assistant £12.00 per hour
- Home Support Care Shift Leader £14.00 per hour
- Home Support Catering Manager £13- £14 per hour
- Home Support Catering Assistant £11.80 per hour
- Home Support Receptionist £10.60 per hour
- Home Support Admin £11.98 per hour
Travel
Good hourly rates, milage allowance paid and full training provided
You will be assigned to one of our homes nearest to where you live – we will then pay your mileage for travel from that home to whichever home you work in and back at a rate of 40p per mile.
Training
Dependent on your role there may be certain qualifications required. Experience is important as you will be required to work in different settings with different challenges so a good understanding of your role is important. We will provide you with the training you need to do your role and will pay you to undertake this training.
Contracted hours
Our contracted hours positions are permanent, and you will be contracted to work the amount of hours specified. You will be provide with your working rota two weeks in advance, you will be required to work a mixture of shifts , days nights, evenings and every other weekend if this is needed.
Relief Hours
With relief hours contract you pick up the hours that are available, so you choose when you work – there is no commitment for us to provide you with hours and you have no commitment to pick up hours. All we ask is that you work regularly enough to maintain your mandatory training and keep yourself up to date with new requirements.
Staff co-ordinator
We have a staff co-ordinator who will ensure that the homes have the hours they have requested, they will work with you to let you know your rota or if you are relief they will let you know what shifts there are for you to pick up. Day to day Housekeeping such as holidays, absence and Development will be processed by the co-ordinator so they will be your go to for “everything Homes support”.
